Is DIM The Answer to Cancer?

For several years now, research has been conducted to find a cure for cancer. Billions of dollars of funding have been spent so that a resolution to this complex disease could be found, but until the discovery of DIM by UC Berkeley scientists, this was not deemed possible.

This compound has been derived from the Brassica family of vegetables, such as broccoli, cabbage, and cauliflower, and has been patented immediately since its properties are considered to be unique in molecular biology.

The reason for this is that Diindolylmethane not only has immune-boosting properties, but also direct anti-cancer properties. This means that if it is used to the potential that doctors and scientists think this compound has, a large variety of viral and bacterial diseases will not affect the human body as the immune system is able to get rid of them quite easily, regardless of the type of disease.

In addition, this compound is now being offered to customers as a cancer prevention diet , and according to recent research, it has been found to prevent prostate and breast cancer by almost 40 to 60 percent.

As amazing as these results are, it is currently being tested by the National Cancer Institute as a suitable form of therapy for cancer. It is also being used in clinical trials to deal with the Human Pappilloma Virus (HPV).

Since it seems as if doctors and researchers are on the verge of a breakthrough, this can only mean good news for those who have been battling cancer for some time now. However, whether or not this compound is the answer to cancer remains to be seen as only time will tell what happens in the clinical trials that are being conducted.

What is for sure is the fact that this is the closest that researchers and scientists have ever gotten to finding a breakthrough against the dreaded disease of cancer.
